If you’ve been following, you know the whole sleep debacle. So tonight my husband and I went to a concert. It wasn’t a Christian/ faith based concert- in fact it’s a band that has “explicit” marked on some of their songs. But you know what- this is the most “normal” I’ve felt in 2+ years. COVID, new baby, new baby with meningitis, older kids trying to figure out how to big brother. It’s a lot. But my point tonight is- I had fun. I had fun as a person, not as a mom, not as someone scared of COVID, not as anything other than a person hanging out with her best friend.

So friend- do the thing. Take time off work. Leave your kids with the babysitter. Spend money on the tickets. Just GO. Have fun. Enjoy this beautiful life that God gave you. He blessed you, and He picked you for your spot- so don’t waste it.
